Happy Monday to all of you. We are just coming off of a crazy weekend. Someone rented our space for a surprise 30th birthday party. It was a huge success. We planned everything except for the beautiful centerpieces. It was our first official real party and I am so pleased on how well it went. The dude planning the party was super fun and easy to deal with so that made it even better.
This Friday, Girl Friday is hosting, along with Lakeside Yoga & Running OM Green, an event benefitting The Peters Township Food Pantry, called Yoga for the Long Run. This one hour, gentle, all levels yoga class will help prepare runners for the upcoming Pittsburgh marathon. Participants will learn breathing, alignment, and stretching techniques to help prevent injury, ease anxiety, and maintain focus during their run, as well as restorative poses to aid in post-run recovery. Be prepared to have fun, laugh, and relax with other runners before the big day. This class is appropriate for walkers, hikers, bikers, or anyone supporting a runner.
After this amazing class, we’ll have some runner-friendly healthy bites and Running OM Green will offer cold-pressed juice samples, infused water, and a special electrolyte juice for run recovery.
