Thank you!

Hi. Last week was crazy. We cooked for some pretty big events and I’m happy to report that we killed all four of them. I was super stressed going into the week but set my intentions on Sunday afternoon while sipping on champagne and floating in the pool (my Sunday ritual). It worked. My girls and I were ultra organized and everyone was very happy. We’re still getting compliments about the food.

This week was quiet. Tonight I am hosting a little party for my girl’s 13th birthday. Yikes…That means lots of other 13 yr olds. I better have the Tito’s handy. Sunday we are cooking for a baptism/birthday party. In between, I’ll be enjoying time with the kiddos before they head back to school next week. It’s always such a bittersweet time.

Owning a business and managing kids in the summer can be ultra tough. I know many of you know what I’m talking about. I do look forward to hitting the ground running when they get back. I feel like I’ve been in a rut. Something clicked in me this week. I realized that balance doesn’t really exist and I’m going to stop looking for it. I feel better just thinking about it. With that being said, I have a lot of exciting thoughts and ideas for GF. Look for some exciting things in the next month or so.
