It’s one of those Mondays. Don’t you love those? We go to our friend’s house almost every Sunday for dinner. We have the best time, but often it runs a little later than it should for a Sunday. Although it’s a great way to start the week, it’s tough getting those kids up in the morning. We’ve vowed to end the night on an earlier note from now on. ha ha.
Want some serious honesty? Owning a business is hard. It really is. I LOVE what I do and started this from nothing and without knowing anything. I have learned A LOT of lessons. Some good, some bad and some in between. What to charge and how much to charge has always been tough for me. Now that I’m more established and know more, I’m able to figure things out a little more clearly. Shit, I may even be able to run promotions like I’ve always wanted to. With that being said, my accountant people have really gotten on me about tightening up my portions and my prices. They are inconsistent and it is starting to take its toll. You may notice an increase here and there, but with that you will see decreases as well. I’m learning to keep with the trends. Did you know that food prices fluctuate week to week? Right now, lettuces of any kind, broccoli and cauliflower are very high demand due to poor weather conditions. These are things that I couldn’t even think about. Now I am because I have to. I know I may be talking too much and giving too much info or even making myself look bad. I get it but it’s honesty at its best or worst. One thing that will never change is the quality of the food that is prepared for you and the love that is put into the food we prepare of you. This is our business and putting out delicious and healthy food will always be our #1 priority. We just kicked up our paleo ranch recipe. My girl Carolina put her own little twist on it and it’s out of this world. Seriously. I can barely taste the coconut milk. It is outstanding.
Last but not least, this menu will only be open until Wednesday at midnight. In order to be more consistent with our orders and ordering, we need to change the dates. I shop on Fridays and the menu was ending on Saturdays, Often times, we had to do a lot of guessing. That is super dumb and doesn’t make any sense, so we’re switching it up. The menu closes on Wednesday night at midnight so I have ample time to get my ordering in and properly shop for the week ahead. No guessing anymore. I’m such a big kid now! New menus come out on Thursday at noon and they will close the following week at midnight on Wednesday! There is no change to pickup days/times. If you’re not on the text list, now is the time. Text Girl to 39187 and be in the loop. This will help you navigate all the confusing changes in the next week.
