Lots of Little Changes

Hi. It’s hard to believe that I had my windows open on Friday and snow on Sunday. Whatever it is, I’ll take it.

Lots of little changes this week.

We are slowly adding some à la carte items on the menu. This is new to us, so please be patient. This week we added some dressing and paleo bread. Next week, we’ll be working on veggies and starches. If there is something that will make your life easier and you want to see it on the menu, send us a quick message and we’ll do whatever we can to accommodate you!

The marinade has changed. We stumbled on this marinade by accident. We tested it last week on all the PYO meats, and it is awesome. At Girl Friday, we’ve all cleaned up our diets, and we’re trying to eat more cleanly. Part of that is using certain spices to help us stay healthy. Turmeric is one of those, and it’s the base of the new marinade. Don’t be scared. It’s delicious and has impressive healing properties. I think you will be pleasantly surprised. If you order it and you don’t like it, let us know. I’ll refund your money!

In the last paragraph, I mentioned that the staff at GF has been tightening up our act. After the holidays and working so much, we all fell of track. We’re on our third week now, and everyone is feeling better. I fell off the wagon this past week, but I’m ready to tackle it again this week.

One thing that keeps me honest is reaching out to others. In my business, I work with a lot of health coaches of various types. I have about three in my back pocket. I use them for very specific things. One of those people is my girl Bobbi DiClaudio. She is a certified Holistic Health Coach. She has helped me through a lot of stuff, so we decided to team up. She is doing a Healthy Happy Hour series at Girl Friday. She’s done a few of them and the first one at GF is next Wednesday. I’ll be creating a separate post but I wanted to give you all a heads up. Sugar is a big  thing especially for me. I’m excited to be able to offer some healthy alternatives and learn ways to help myself in the process!
